Post-Con feedback session this Friday


First, a huge shout out of gratitude to every single person for a terrific Texas REATORS® Shaping Texas Conference in Fort Worth. Whether you attended or not, it took the entire team to pull off an event like this and still keep the association up and running. Thank you all for going above and beyond. The feedback from members has been outstanding and really shows the effort that everyone put into it to make it a great experience.


And, we have to give a very special shout out to the Meeting Planning Department. This was the first Conference for this team to pull off...with Christy in the Director role and Ashley and Sabrina having not ever even attended a live Texas REALTORS® Conference. They handled it (and all of us) with grace and professionalism, all while working with a new AV vendor and a new registration system. That was a heavy lift and you pulled it off like the pros you are.


We all learned a lot from this experience and it's important that we do not lose the key takeaways and areas for improvement. Believe it or not, planning for next year's Conference begins now.


To that end, this Friday at 11:00a in the Boardroom and via Zoom (see calendar invite below), we will be hosting a Post-Con meeting. This meeting is for anyone with specific feedback to come share. What worked? What didn't? What could have been better? How was team communication throughout the process? How was working with the new vendor? What schedule items need to be looked at for next year? How could our collaboration have been better?


Come with your thoughts and suggestions. It's how we help ensure that next year is even more of a success.


FYI, originally, there was a Collaborative Conversation on the new strategic plan scheduled for the same time this Friday. That meeting will be pushed to a future date so we can focus on this timely topic.
