Exciting News from Texas REALTORS®! You might want to read this one all the way through.

Updated: Oct 31, 2023

We are thrilled to announce that Texas REALTORS® has been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Austin American-Statesman for the fifth year in a row. This prestigious accolade will be officially unveiled on November 12th by the Austin American-Statesman. Please keep this exciting news under wraps until the publication date. After that, feel free to share it with the world!

This remarkable achievement is a direct result of the invaluable feedback you shared through our recent employee survey. We are genuinely grateful to the more than 96% of our team who participated, as your insights played a pivotal role in the recognition. Did you know that according to the survey, 96% of employees feel appreciated? We'll share more of the feedback, both the accolades and the areas where you said we can improve, soon.

Being named a Top Workplace is an incredible honor. Out of the countless companies evaluated, only 116 have earned this distinction, and it's especially meaningful because the judges were none other than you, our incredible team.

While the recognition itself is significant, what truly matters is the feedback you've provided. We take your comments seriously and are delighted to announce some exciting changes based on your input:

Expanded Holidays: We're adding two more holidays to our office calendar – Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day.

Vacation Policy Enhancement: We're changing our policy for earning additional vacation days. No longer will a new employee have to wait three years; an extra day will be added for the year following their first anniversary. We know what you are thinking...we will be making this retroactive so those who are not already maxed out on vacation, and have been here a year, will benefit from this change as well.

Vision Insurance: Introducing a fully paid vision insurance plan to our benefits offerings. The premium for employee-only coverage will be covered, with the option to include dependents and pay the difference. More about this on Thursday at our Open Enrollment meeting.

Affordable Health Insurance Option: Although our health insurance rates are increasing by 5% (a significant reduction from the originally proposed 13.3%), we're introducing a new cost-effective option that may be particularly appealing to those with dependents. This optional plan is projected to save a family approximately $2,000 per year compared to covering an entire family on our base plan this year. (Our base plan and buy-up plans remain unchanged, with a 5% premium increase - this new offering is strictly an option for those that it may interest.)

Your voices made a difference, and we're committed to making Texas REALTORS® an even better workplace. We are thankful for your ongoing dedication and look forward to achieving even greater heights together. Thank you for being an integral part of our success story!
